Honestly, this game sounds like a punishment wrapped in a conundrum. It’s like they made suffering a core mechanic. Feels like some won’t even get through the first few hours. For a niche audience, sure, but not many are ready to embrace that despair.

Awesome review. I feel like you’re one of the few reviewers who actually got what this game was trying to achieve and can appreciate just how thoughtfully constructed it is. I get that the experience isn’t going to be for everyone, but reviewing it badly because it’s not ‘your kind of game’ is pretty poor form. This game is a masterpiece and will go down as a cult classic, in my opinion. I hope they make more.

Ah, nice! All I need is to decrease the hunger etc speeds and I’m good.
Gotta say, I’m enjoying these mid-tier budget games lately; more polish than first-timer indies, but more creatively driven than the AAA objective-marker-hunter games that seemingly just want to get you addicted to feedback loops.

I truly want to give this a whirl but the hunger / thirst thing just seems way too frequent. I know it’s a surreal take on it and not meant to be “real” as you say, but still. It just seems so… Tiring?
